The Endless Wait

A seed of hope, in fertile ground is sown,

A tender shoot, with promise brightly shown.

It yearns for sunlight, for the rain's caress,

To break the surface, and to finally bless.

But days turn weeks, and weeks to months unfold,

The earth remains unyielding, stories untold.

Beneath the surface, roots begin to creep,

A silent struggle, while the world's asleep.

With every dawn, a flicker of desire,

A longing heart, fueled by internal fire.

The mind a battleground, where doubts reside,

And patience tested, as hope starts to hide.

The world moves on, with careless haste and glee,

While dreams suspended, in limbo decree.

A constant vigil, watching, waiting, yearn,

For that elusive moment, when the soul will burn.

With every setback, a lesson to be gleaned,

A stronger spirit, from the ashes gleaned.

Resilience forged, in trials and despair,

A character tempered, beyond compare.

The clock ticks on, a relentless pace,

A countdown to triumph, or a bitter disgrace.

But in the waiting, a strength is found,

A deeper purpose, on sacred ground.

For in this pause, the soul begins to grow,

A wisdom cultivated, a place to know.

That success is fleeting, a momentary gleam,

While character's essence, is a timeless dream.

So let us wait, with heads held high,

With hope ignited, and a steady eye.

For in the silence, growth takes place,

And in due season, we'll find our grace.

The day will dawn, when dreams take flight,

And hard-earned victories, will fill the night.

But until that moment, we'll stand and face,

The endless waiting, with courage and grace.

For in the journey, not just the end,

True fulfillment, and purpose transcend.

So let us embrace, this waiting's art,

And nurture a spirit, strong from the start.
